SELF-CARE

Self-care is never a selfish act - it is simply good stewardship of the only gift I have, the gift I was put on earth to offer others.  Anytime we can listen to our true self and give it the care it requires, we do it not only for ourselves, but for the many others whose lives we touch.Quote by Parker PalmerREFLECTION:What do you do to take care of yourself?Do you think this is selfish? TWO SIMPLE RULES

Two simple rules: You get better at what you practice.  Everything is practice.  Look around and you may be surprised by what people are "practicing" each day.  If you consider each moment a repetition, what are most people training for all day long?  Many people are practicing getting mad on social media.  Others are practicing the fine are of noticing how they have been wronged.  Still more have mastered the craft of making plans (but never following through).  But of course, it doesn't have to be that way.  What are you practicing?Source:  James Clear 3-2-1 Thursday BlogREFLECTION:What are you practicing?Do you want to change what you are "practicing?"
