ALL TOGETHER

We may not have it all together, but together, we have it all!

Quote: Unknown

REFLECTION:

  • Do you think you have to do it all alone?
  • Do you think you have to have it “all together?”
  • How can you shift from “me to we?”

ENCOURAGEMENT AND REASSURANCE

REVOLVING DOOR NYC By Joseph White The Phillips Collection - Washington DC

Reassurance always runs out.  Reassurance implies that the only reason to go forward is because it’s certain to work.  Reassurance is futile.

Encouragement means that someone sees us, understands us and believes in us.  Even (especially) when things don’t turnout as we hoped.  Encouragement lasts.  Encouragement is self-fueling and self-fulfilling.

REFLECTION:

Reassurance is the feeling of being reassured, of having confidence restored, of having apprehensions dispelled while encouragement is the act of encouraging; incitement to action or to practice (source: WikiDiff)

  • How often do you offer encouragement to another?
  • Is there someone who needs encouragement now vs. reassurance?
  • Do you or someone you love need encouragement?
  • I encourage you to take some action today!

YOUR ACTIONS

THEY ARE FOLLOWING IN YOUR FOOTSTEPS!

“What you do speaks so loudly, I can’t hear what you are saying.”

Who are you?  Who are you becoming?

Quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson

REFLECTION:

  • Even if you are unaware, others (especially our children) are watching us.
  • Do your actions match your words?
  • Is there some area of your life where there are inconsistencies?
  • How can you better align yourself with who you want to be… become?
