POWER TO CHOOSE

Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom. Quote by Viktor Frankl REFLECTION: Too often, we believe we are helpless victims.  Yet as Viktor Frankl points out, we do have the power to choose our response. Space (breath, pause, time out, count to 10, etc.) creates the opportunity for us to "respond" versus react.  Recall a recent interaction.  Did you react?  Did you respond?   Is there a conflict you are currently experiencing;  a situation you feel victimized?  Is there a different response you can consciously make? What response can you make that offers you freedom and growth?

ARE YOU STALLING

ARE YOU STALLING?.... And of course, the answer is often "yes."  If you're waiting on an unavoidable delay, then you're not stalling.  If you're making things better in a way that the customer will notice, then you're not stalling.  If you're finding that the spaces in between are giving you joy and sustaining you, then you're not stalling.  But... If you're holding back and looking for a reason why, and that reason is replaced by another reason, then... you might be stalling. FROM:  Blog post by Seth Godin  Seth Godin is a best selling author, speaker,  entrepreneur and most of all,  a teacher.  Books include: Purple Cow and This Is Marketing.REFLECTION:Are you holding back .... stalling on something you say you want? Examine your reasons for delay. What can you do to move past the stall?
