REFLECTIONS ON LESSONS LEARNED.1

Amy Dickinson reflects on lessons learned as she shows herself the door:

SHOW UP FOR PEOPLE.

Amy Dickinson – has offered advice on her syndicated column, ASK AMY  for more than two decades.  She is leaving this seven-day-a -week commitment – because she wants to.  This is one of several pieces of “final advice” she shares.

REFLECTION:

  • Do you show up for people?
  • What does that look like?
  • Is there someone you need to “show up” for today?

LIFE IS LIKE A CAMERA!

LIFE is like a CAMERA.  FOCUS on what is important.  CAPTURE the GOOD times DEVELOP from the NEGATIVES and if things don’t work out, just take ANOTHER SHOT!

Quote by Ziad K. Abdelnour

REFLECTION:

  • What is most important to you?  Do you FOCUS on that?
  • Have you CAPTURED  and savored the good times?
  • How have you DEVELOPED from the negatives?
  • Ready to take another shot?

LIVING BETTER

Fear is the cheapest room in the house.

I would like to see you living in better conditions.

….

I know if you

Pray

Somewhere in this world –

Something good will happen.

God wants to see

More love and playfulness in your eyes

For that is your greatest witness to Him.

Poem titled: YOUR MOTHER AND MY MOTHER

REFLECTION:

  • What fears are causing you to live in the cheapest room in the house?
  • What can you do to address this fear so you can live in better conditions?
  • How can you add more love and playfulness to your life?
