HELL OR HEAVEN

"Helen's Family farm" as seen in PBS's ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL

You can go to hell with out moving an inch, just focus on what you lack.  You can taste heaven with out leaving earth, just rejoice in what you have.

Quote by James Clear from his 321 Thursday Blog

REFLECTION:

  • Do you focus on what you lack?
  • Do you focus on what you have?
  • Are you in heaven or hell?
  • Today, focus on what you have and rejoice!

TODAY’S GIFT

Cease to inquire what the future has in store, and to take as a gift whatever the day brings forth.

REFLECTION:

  • Perhaps you are like me and spend some time thinking about the future.  Yet as the saying goes,  Today is a gift… that’s why we call it the present.
  • What is a gift the day has already brought you?
  • Continue to awaken to the gifts this day is bringing you.

REFLECTIONS ON LESSONS LEARNED.8

Amy Dickinson in her final column ‘offers “scripts” for people who have asked me for the right words to say and so I thought I would boil these down to some of the most important statements I believe anyone can make.  They are:

  • I need help.
  • I’m sorry.
  • I forgive you.
  • I love you, just as you are.
  • I’m on your side.
  • You’re safe.
  • You are no alone.’

Amy Dickinson – has offered advice on her syndicated column, ASK AMY  for more than two decades.  She is leaving this seven-day-a -week commitment – because she wants to.  This is one of several pieces of “final advice” she shares.

REFLECTION:

  • I think these words say it all… imagine how much better your relationships (with yourself and others) would be if you put these scripts into action on a daily basis… even weekly ?
  • Which one resonates with you today?  Practice it!
