PICK UP THE STONES….

OREMUS "So let us pick up the stones over which we stumble, friends, and build altars.  Let us listen to the sound of breath in our bodies.  Let us listen to the sounds of our own voices, of our own names, of our own fears.  Let us claw ourselves out from the graves we've dug. Let's lick the earth from our fingers.  Let us look up and out and around.  The world is big and wide and wild and wonderful and wicked , and our lives are murky, magnificent, malleable and full of meaning.  Oremus. Let us pray."Poem by Pádraig Ó Tuama REFLECTION:What struggles (stones) do you need to confront? What altar (something positive) can you make with the stones? How can mindfulness, self-awareness and overcoming adversity help you look up and out and around to a new perspective?

A STORY

What is a story that you would rather keep hidden but will give you a new life if revealed... shared?REFLECTION:What story... what "secret" will make you come more alive?Do you have the courage to share it?What new life awaits you if revealed?

CAN WE FORGIVE?

"If we can forgive what's been done to us... If we can forgive what we've done to others... If we can leave our stories behind... Our being victims and villains.  Only then can we maybe rescue the world."Quote by Chuck Palahniuk from his novel HAUNTEDREFLECTION:Can you forgive something that has been done to you?Can you forgive yourself for what you have done to another? Can you release yourself from being the victim or villain? What does forgiveness look like?
