COME TO THE EDGE

Paparoa National Park Punakaiki New Zealand

“Come to the edge.” he said.

We can’t, we’re afraid.” they responded.

“Come to the edge.” he said.

“We can’t. We will fall!” they responded.

“Come to the edge.” he said.

And so they came.

And he pushed them.

And they flew.

Poem by French poet Guillaume Apollinaire

REFLECTION:

  • Do you play it safe inside your comfort zone?
  • When have you “gone to the edge?”
  • What does going to the edge look like for you?  Do you need to be  pushed… to fly?
