GRATITUDE

When we focus on our gratitude, the tide of disappointment goes out and the tide of love rushes in.Quote by Kristin Armstrong   Kristin Armstrong is a former professional road bicycle racer and three-time Olympic gold medalist, the winner of the women's individual time trial in 2008, 2012, and 2016 .REFLECTION:Make a list of things you are grateful for.Focus on gratitude today and let love rush in!

WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME?

So here is what I would ask you... when was the last time:  You said "I am not able to do that"... and you stopped there. You said to yourself "I am going to truly focus on myself" (even if just for an hour, a day , a month or more)... and you actually did it. You allowed yourself to not feel guilty about focusing on yourself... and instead, you felt pride... grace. This is about truly acting on the notion of recognizing when to say, "I am not able to do that" or "I need to take a pause for my own wellness and endurance.  For the first time in my life, I decided to give myself permission to not do everything and instead to do that which I could truly handle, without losing myself.SORRY...I don't know where I found this... all I know is it resonated with me and I just had to use this for my blog... especially as we begin the Holiday season.REFLECTION:Reread this post...Reflect it... when was the last time ...?Do you give yourself permission to only do what you can truly handle?
