Ceiling found in exhibit at Chiluly Garden and Glass Seattle, Washington
“Glass ceilings can’t stop me. Glass slippers don’t interest me. Glass mirrors don’t define me. I decide who I will or I will not be. And I choose to be : UNBREAKABLE! UNTAKEABLE! UNSHAKEABLE! ME.”
Quote by L. R. Knost
REFLECTION:
What defines you?
Have you decided who you will and will not be?
Who is that?
What will make you unbreakable, untakeable, and unshakeable?
The value of fairy tales lies not in a brief literary escape from reality, but in the gift of hope that goodness truly is more powerful than evil and that even the darkest reality can lead to a Happily Ever After. Do not take that gift of hope lightly. It has the power to conquer despair in the midst of sorrow, to light the darkness in the valleys of life, to whisper “One more time” in the face of failure.
Quote by L. R. Knost
REFLECTION:
Do you have hope?
Where is the light to be found?
What is whispering “one more time” despite fear of failure?
We all have negative patterns ingrained in us, left over from generations past. Antiquated ideas and ideals that need to be relegated to the pages of history.
Pay attention to your life, your choices, your actions and your reactions. Look for those old painful, destructive patterns, And then decide, “Is this how I want to live?” “Is this what I want to be remembered for?” “Is this what I want to pass along to my children?” If the answer is ‘no’ remember, you have the power to change the future. It starts with changing the present.
Quote by L. R. Knost
REFLECTION:
Are you living how you want to live?
What do you want to be remembered for?
What to you want to pass along to others?
What changes do you need to make now to change your outcome in the future?
