GIVE OVER THE PAST

FORGIVENESS Take all your sins and shortcomingsEvery last mountain and molehill of your pastAnd give them over to the waves. That's too easy you say.But I tell you there is lightHidden beneath your fearA free spirit waiting to soar with the seagulls. The moment you relinquish your tight gripOn guilt or innocence Receive the blessings of the salty sprayThe benediction of the cormorant.Forgiveness look like the delight in your eyes As you wave goodbye to the shoreline.Poem by Danna Faulds titled FORGIVENESS REFLECTION:Are you able to forgive yourself for past sins and shortcomings? Can you give them over or does that seem too easy?Explore forgiving yourself. Can you wave goodbye to the shoreline of your past and soar with the seagulls?

REPEATING PATTERNS

If somebody treats you with unkindness, if they judge or criticize you, it's likely they have endured similar treatment from others in the past, and they are only repeating unconscious patterns in search of a love they cannot find.  Quote by Jeff FosterLearn more about Jeff Foster: https://www.lifewithoutacentre.com/REFLECTION:What unconscious patterns are running your life? Are you aware?Consider asking a loved one to share a pattern they see that perhaps you can't see in yourself. What is it?  Pause and examine if you are really in search of love and are not too good at expressing it. Then decide if you want to change up the pattern.

99 vs 0

Mud pie at Chart House If you get a 99% quality haircut or a 99% close-to-perfect meal, it's better than good.  On the other hand, if the scrub nurse only does a 99% job of disinfecting the tools in the operating room, you're still going to die of an infection.  Some projects respond very well to ordinary effort and 99% perfect.  In fact, the last 1% isn't worth the time, the effort or the focus.  Others fail if they're not fully and completely to spec.  Knowing the difference between the two saves everyone a lot of stress and avoids needless cost and avoidable disasters.  We come out ahead when we put our energy into the projects that reward our effort and choose to meet spec with the others.FROM:  Seth Godin's Daily BlogREFLECTION:Are you able to discern which projects need the last 1%?Are there projects that would be good enough with 99%?Look at your list of projects which require the extra effort and focus and which ones could just meet spec.Implement accordingly.
