Each of us builds culture every time we interact with anyone else. Opting out isn’t possible, all we can do is decide what sort of impact and contribution we’re each going to make. It’s tempting to say, “they” build culture, and to see that some have far more leverage than others. But it’s actually a “we” thing.

REFLECTION:
What kind of culture are you building in your family, your community, your workplace?
Is the culture to your liking?
What can you do (It’s a WE thing) to improve the culture in your sphere?
The reason people get good ideas in the shower is because it’s the only time during the day when most people are away from screens long enough to think clearly. The lesson is not to take more showers, but rather to make more time to think.

REFLECTION:
Have you ever gotten a “good idea” in the shower? Could it be it because of time away from all other distractions?
How much time do you take to think – away from screens?
Take a walk today without any electronics… take time to think and see what emerges – away from the screens and other distractions.
