There is a treasure buried in the field of every one of our days, even the bleakest or dullest, and it is our business, as we journey, to keep our eyes peeled for it.
Quote by Frederick Buechner, THE LONGING FOR HOME: Reflections at Midlife
REFLECTION:
Each day offers us a new treasure.
What is a treasure you found today… or keep your eyes peeled for a treasure today!
Write about it or tell someone… acknowledge it in some way.
Unless you learn to face your own shadows, you will continue to see them in others, because the world outside of you is only a reflection of the world inside you.
Quote by Carl Jung
REFLECTION:
OUCH!
Is there something in someone you see that you don’t like? Where is this same trait/behavior evident in your life? You may not have it at the same intensity but examine where you have that same trait.
At times, it can feel very difficult to be kind – seeing injustice and what your perceive as “wrong” with the world. The Dalai Lama experienced first hand injustice and cruelty -yet he decided to choose kindness.
