SHOULD HAVE … COULD HAVE…

“I should have done that.”

But you didn’t.

Don’t waste your time, don’t lose your peace wondering what you could have done.  Live the peace of NOW.

REFLECTION:

  • Do you “would have… should have” all over yourself?
  • How can you accept that you didn’t?
  • Move on… Find PEACE NOW!

ENROLLMENT

“Do as I say.” That’s industrial management in four words.  If you don’t follow the instructions to the letter, you’re insubordinate.  Not subordinate.

Complete subordination might have been the goal in an industrial setting.  But now, it’s dangerous, expensive and inefficient.  Because people close to the work know exactly what needs to be done.

The opposite of insubordination is now enrollment.

Someone who is enrolled in the journey doesn’t have to be told exactly what to do.  Instead, given the goals, the tools and the culture, they will figure it out.

REFLECTION:

  • What is your style for getting others to do what you want?
  • Are you “Moses with the tablets” – expecting others to do as you say?
  • Are you more inspiring – creating a vision for others to engage?
  • Examine your style – how you enroll others more effectively?

SURVIVAL GUIDE….

One day you will tell your story of how you overcame what you went through, and it will be someone else’s survival guide.

REFLECTION:

  • Do you have a story to share – one that is very personal or challenges who you show to others?
  • If you were willing to share it, could someone benefit from your willingness to share?
  • If you were very brave, would to share?
  • Maybe journal about it or if you are willing share with another… you may help them on the journey of life.
