Giving and receiving are two sides of the same coin. Accumulating for oneself alone is counterproductive. “It will be given you to see your brother’s worth when all you seek for him is peace. And what you want for him, you will receive.”
Quote from A Course In Miracles
REFLECTION:
Do you give more than you receive?
Do you receive(take) more than you give?
Are you willing to receive?
Do you perceive giving as more humble/better than receiving?
If giving and receiving are really the same thing (not giving and taking), how can you open up to receiving?… or giving more?
We are sitting atop a unique moment in history, a major tipping point. The time we are in provides singular opportunities that can be seized and made use of with every breath. There is only one way to do that. It is to embody, in our lives as they are unfolding here and now, our deepest values and our understanding of what is most important – and share it with each other, trusting that such embodied actions, on even the smallest of scales will entrain the world over time into greater wisdom and health and sanity.

REFLECTION:
It seems the world is in an incredible crisis – wars, famine, political views dividing us, and more. We are at a tipping point.
Are you clear on your deepest values and what is most important to you?
Upon closer examination – are they coming from a place of love or fear?
Love can tip the scales… what actions can you take today toward another or a group of people to aid in tipping the scales toward a more loving world.
What can we gain by sailing to the moon if we are not able to cross the abyss that separates us from ourselves? This is the most important of all voyages of discovery, and without it, all the rest are useless.
Quote by Thomas Merton
REFLECTION:
You can make changes in your life… move, change jobs, marry, get divorced but one things remains: you.
Without a sturdy sense of self, much falters.
So take some time today… maybe even walk in the moonlight and examine what makes you tick… is it serving you or leading you to an endless abyss?
